#503 LeBaron Sedan (Member)

Owned by Graham Corbally in Australia

I live just outside of Adelaide, South Australia and have a 6 window sedan, its body number 503, which puts it near the end of the model year. The car is black, with a blue broadcloth interior, it is fully optioned,  (swivel seat, solex glass, autopilot,  duel air, duel mirrors,  hood ornament , but does not have a mirrormatic mirror, i am halfway through a restoration,  and am still chasing parts.

2019-07-03 LeBaron Sedan Ambassador’s car in Japan

3/25/21 update. One of our Members, Shin Takada in Japan identified this car as being owned by Japan’s Uruguayan Ambassador back in the early 1960s and these pictures were when the car was new. It’s a great example of having original factory door guards. The pictures were taking of the car in front of the Haneda International Airport in Tokyo as it was named at the time. The airport is currently named the Narita International Airport. I don’t know if the car still exists, who owns it or it’s whereabouts. Shin has never seen another 59 Imperial in Japan besides the one he owns.
